Business Bites: a new podcast series by 海角视频 and Northern Rivers Food

Local food and beverage businesses have a fortnightly audio date to look forward to, with a new podcast called ‘Business Bites’ on the menu.

The podcast is a collaboration between 海角视频 and Northern Rivers Food, combining industry knowledge and academic insights to address the challenges businesses have recently faced.

“The pandemic and recent natural disasters have presented huge challenges that demand new ways of working and thinking about how we create impact together. This collaboration with Northern Rivers Food is a demonstration of the kind of response required to ensure our businesses are best equipped to navigate it,” said Mr Ben Roche, Vice President (Engagement) at 海角视频.

“Northern Rivers Food have been enjoying and benefitting from the partnership with 海角视频 to deliver this important project. It is a collaboration that is an obvious and natural fit for both organisations,” affirmed Mr Mark Napper, Chair of Northern Rivers Food. 

Funded by the NSW Government, the podcast series is aimed at businesses at different stages of growth: from start-up (years one or two), to growth mode (three to five years) and those who employ 50 or more staff (five to 10 years or more). The series will feature 10 episodes, delivered fortnightly and available to stream on , Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Well-known Australian media personality and ABC North Coast radio presenter Angela Catterns will be hosting the podcast series, which kicked off last Friday with a media launch event and the first episode on . During this initial podcast, Dean Gould, Chief Marketing Officer at 海角视频, along with Trevor Lee and Lilly Choi-Lee from Naturally Northern Rivers Australia and Genna Pyewacket and Katrina Patton from Pyewackets Traditionals discussed about how to manage unexpected upheavals such as fires, floods, drought or a worldwide pandemic.
